🚨 Avoid a $500 Fine! Know the Rules for Fishing Sydney’s Wharves! 🚨

Attention, Northern Beaches anglers! 🎣🚤 If you’re fishing at Sydney Harbour or Parramatta River ferry wharves, make sure you’re following the rules—NSW Police can issue $500 fines for non-compliance!

Fishing is strictly prohibited at:
🚫 Cabarita Wharf (Banned since 2011)
🚫 Circular Quay
🚫 Taronga Zoo
🚫 Manly
🚫 Sydney Olympic Park
🚫 King St 1-9
🚫 Beulah Street Wharf (Under construction)

Fishing Rules for Sydney’s Ferry Wharves:
Max 2 rods per person, max 6 fishers at a time
No fishing when a ferry is approaching, berthing, or departing
Keep all knives, hooks, lines & fish remains properly stored/disposed of
No fishing gear, bait, or fish on commuter seating
Take your catch home – no fish cleaning at the wharf
Clean up before leaving – wash down your fishing area
Supervise children at all times
No swimming, diving, or entering the wharf from the water
No camping, BBQs, fires, chairs, or tables on the wharf
No dogs without transport approval
No anti-social behaviour
No bare feet on wharves
